Beyerou and Wilhelmina (?), on 10 August 1883 at Allen County, Indiana.^1,3 Theodore R.      Phillip Baldwin Bekeart The Bekear family while not part of our family research has been included in this data set because of a Christmas gift from David C. Pratt to his father Norman and passed on to his son Brian. The gift was an antique hand painted mug, signed on the bottom and and given by Phil B. Bekeart to an unknowen person for New Years in 1905.³ He was born on 1 October 1861 at California.^1,2 He was the son of Julius F. Bekeart and Laura Ellen Kendall.^1,2 Phillip Baldwin Bekeart married Laura E. Kendall, daughter of Charles Kendall and Ellen Webb, in 1893 at California.¹ Phillip Baldwin Bekeart died on 15 February 1936 at San Francisco, California, at age 74.²

     Ransom Vick was born on 1 October 1861 at Marshall County, Mississippi.^1,2 He married Bettie Temperance Mitchell before 1884; Other children listed on the 1910 census: John M(23), Emmet R(20), Lucy(17), Eva(15), William H(11), Elizabeth(9).¹

     Julia Ann Spridgen was born on 28 October 1861 at Lucas County, Iowa.³ She was the daughter of William Spridgen and Elizabeth Limbird.² Julia Ann Spridgen married Benjamin Darst Barger, son of David A. Barger and Fiana H "Fannie" Darst, in 1884 at Lucas County, Iowa.¹ Julia Ann Spridgen died on 25 August 1942 at Chariton, Lucas County, Iowa, at age 80.³

     Clara Ann Quirk Barton was born on 30 November 1861 at Manti, Utah.^1,5 She was the daughter of William Kilshaw Barton and Elizabeth Frances Quirk.^3,2,4 Clara Ann Quirk Barton appeared on the census of her parents, William and Elizabeth Quirk Barton, of 27 June 1870 in Ward 2, Manti, Sanpete County, Utah.⁶ Clara married George Albert Petty, son of William George Petty and Adaline Voorhees, on 5 November 1877 at St. Geroge, Washington County, Utah.^1,2 Clara and George Petty appeared on the census of 18 June 1880 in Petty Precinct, Sanpete County, Utah Territory.¹ She died on 4 April 1897 at Ferron, Utah, at age 35.⁵ Clara is buried at Ferron City Cemetary, Ferron, Utah.³

     Sarah Emily Baldwin was born in December 1861 at San Bernardino County, California.¹ She married Henry Walker Hawker, son of Thomas Hawker and Charlotte Stapley, circa 1878 at California.¹ Sarah Emily Baldwin and Henry Walker Hawker appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in San Bernardino, California.² Sarah Emily Baldwin died on 5 November 1886 at San Bernardino County, California, at age 24.¹

     Isadora "Dora" Mayo was born circa 1862 at Augusta County, Virginia.^1,2 She married Jacob Lewis Argabrite, son of Pharis G Argabrite and Rosannah Jerrett, on 5 November 1879 at Monroe County, West Virginia.^1,4 Jacob and Isadora appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in Wolf Creek, Monroe County, West Virginia.² Isadora "Dora" Mayo died on 20 February 1887 at Ventura County, California.¹

     Lars Sundfiord was born circa 1862 at Norway.¹ He married Anna Olena Berg circa 1885 at Norway.¹ Lars Sundfiord immigrated in 1903 to United States.² He and Anna Olena Berg appeared on the census of 23 April 1910 in Ward 6, Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota; For this census, Anna indicates that she had 11 children with 9 still living. S.P.³ He married Addie Frost, daughter of Horace Frost and Elizabeth Mann, in 1909 at California.¹ Charles Archibald Dell and Addie Frost appeared on the census of 20 July 1910 in Ward 7, Oakland, Alameda County, California.⁴ Charles and Addie also appeared on the census of 14 February 1920 in Comstock, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.⁵ Charles Archibald Dell died before 12 April 1930; Addie is listed as a widow on the 1930 Cesus.⁶

     James H. Hardin was born circa 1862 at Illinois.¹ He married Josephine Gorman, daughter of Samuel Gorman and Elizabeth Drake, circa 1890.¹ James H. Hardin and Josephine Gorman appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in Hazelton, Barber County, Kansas; This census included his mother, Sarah J. Hardin and a sister, Della O. Hardin.² James and Josie also appeared on the census of 7 May 1910 in Lamar, Powers County, Colorado; This census also included the Mother-in-law, Sarah.³ They appeared in California on the census of 4 January 1920 in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California.⁴ James H. Hardin and Josephine Gorman also appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California.¹

     Frank Clifford Walkup was born circa 1862 at Massachusetts.¹ He married Rose Bryant circa 1891.¹ Frank Clifford Walkup and Rose Bryant appeared on the census of 14 June 1900 in Alameda, Alameda County, California.³ Frank and Rose appeared on the census of 19 April 1910 also in Alameda, California.⁴ They also appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 in Alameda; This census included Bert Coulter, boarder, age 8.⁵

Wilson before 1884 at Mississippi.² Lucy Yancey and Joseph J. Wilson appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 in Coldwater, Tate County, Mississippi.² Lucy Yancey and Joseph J.      Frances Green was born in 1862 at North Carolina.² She married John Alexander McLauchlin, son of John Alexander McLauchlin and Effie Jane Munroe, in 1879 at North Carolina.¹ Frances Green and John Alexander McLauchlin appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.²

The Whites were leading citizens there and Mr. White was a civil engineer for the New England Water Company which brought water to the city (then over 10,000 population" from Spring Gulch.¹⁰
