There are several sisters and brothers living elsewhere. No arrangements for the funeral have been made. Mr. Darby had lived in Belvidere for many years and was hightly esteemed. To the family will be given much sympathy.8,2

     Mason Bradbury Young was born on 14 August 1865 at New York.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Henry Young and Hortense J Dyer.1,3 Mason Bradbury Young was included in the census of Thomas Henry Young and Hortense J Dyer on 9 June 1880 at Southold, Suffolk County, New York.3 Mason Bradbury Young ""Return of the U.S. Training Ship Minnesota. Enlisted as 3rd Cl. Boy. Born 14 aug 1886, Orient S.J. N.Y. Age 15 6/12, eyes Grey, hair Brown, Complextion Tan, height 5'1"." on 7 October 1880 at New York.2 He was included in the census of Thomas Henry Young and Hortense J Dyer on 1 June 1900 at Southold.4 Mason Bradbury Young was included in the census of Hortense J Dyer on 17 May 1910 at Southold, Suffolk County, New York.1 Mason Bradbury Young died in February 1931 at Orient, Suffolk County, New York, at age 65; Posted on Find-A-Grave "son of Thomas Henry and Hortense J. YOUNG".5 He Mason appearently never Married and ended life at the Suffolk County Almshouse.

Patton Sr was born on 30 September 1865 at Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia.2 He was the son of George Smith Patton and Susan Thornton Glassell.1 George was included in the census of step-father and mother, George Hugh Smith and Susan Thornton Glassell, on 16 August 1870 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.3 George married Ruth Wilson, daughter of Benjamin Davis Wilson and Margaret S. Hereford, on 10 December 1884 at Los Angeles County, California.1,4,5 George S. Patton Sr and Ruth Wilson appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in San Gabriel, Los Angelse County, California; This census included George sr's sister Susie G, born Feb 1864, and Ruth's sister Annie Wilson, born july 1858.6 George S. Patton Sr died on 10 June 1927 at San Marino, Los Angeles County, California, at age 61.2 He From a bio posted at Find-A-Grave: "Lawyer, Businessman, and Political Figure. Born George William Patton, his father was Confederate Colonel George Smith Patton, Sr. who died shortly after the Battle of Opequon (also known as the 3rd Battle of Winchester) in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and he changed his middle name to Smith in honor of his father. After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia he studied law there and became an attorney. In 1877 he relocated to Los Angeles, California and in 1884 he married Ruth Wilson, the daughter of prominent landowner and political figure Benjamin Davis Wilson.7"
