Hornor and Sarah Elizabeth Smith, on 1 August 1870 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.6 Walter Wood Hornor married Martha Adella "Della" Reynolds, daughter of James Andrew Reynolds and Ambrosette Stephenson, on 12 November 1890 at San Joaquin County, California.1,3 Walter Wood Hornor and Martha Adella "Della" Reynolds appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 in Tulare, San Joaquin County, Califronia; They were living just doors from Della's father James Reynolds.5 Walter Wood Hornor appeared on the California Great Registers between 1890 and 1908 at Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.7 They appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 also in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.8 For the census of 9 January 1920, Walter and Della also were residing in Stockton.9 They were still in Stockton for the census of 2 April 1930.1 Listed as a widower, Walter Wood Hornor appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 also in Stockton. His son Alfred, working as a hospital attendant was living with him.10 He died on 11 October 1946 at the Stockton State Hospital, Stockton, San Joaquin County, at age 80; He appears to have married for a second time as his wife is listed as Addie Hornor, age 74.2

     Emma Elizabeth Wittgem was born on 1 July 1866 at Mendota, La Salle County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of William (Johann Friedrich Wilhelm) Wittgem and Hannah (Johanna Cristiana) Weiss.2 Emma Elizabeth Wittgem was recorded in the census of William (Johann Friedrich Wilhelm) Wittgem and Hannah (Johanna Cristiana) Weiss on 5 June 1880 at Mendota, La Salle County, Illinois.2 Emma Elizabeth Wittgem married Levi Thomas Brown, son of Thomas Brown and Fannie L Wallburn, on 14 July 1885 at Mendota, Illinois.
