     In a letter to Agusta's son Ray, Freda Hair made indicated that Augusta had black hair.3 Augusta Albrecht was born on 18 April 1876 at Flatow, Krojenke, West Prussia, Prussia.1 She was the daughter of Carl Wilhelm Albrecht and Louise Augusta Justine Jeanette Gomoll.1 Augusta was listed in the census of her mother, Augusta Albrecht, on 8 June 1900 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. She is indicated as having been born in 1880; This census indicates that they (Augusta and her children) came to the United States in 1882.2 Augusta Albrecht married Frank L. Goelitz, son of Johann "John" H Goelitz and Louisa "Louise" Truby, on 5 June 1907 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.4,5,6 With their two children, Ray and Truby, Frank and Agusta appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.7 Augusta was known to have had health problems which developed during childhood and in an effort to find a better environment, She and Frank then moved to Onterio, California after 1910.8 Augusta Albrecht died on 3 January 1913 at Onterio, Los Angeles County, California, at age 36.1,9
