The fact that William is an Episcapal Minister seems to tie this William to the Craighill family.⁴ Lillie and William appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 in Bedford, Bedford County, Virginia; Lillie is listed a "Wistar L."⁵ He and Lillie Wistar Craighill appeared on the census of 11 April 1940 in Bedford, Bedford County, Virginia; Lillie is listed as "Wistar C. Marchall" on this census.⁶ William Clarkson Marshall died in 1976 at Lynchburg, Virginia.⁷
