Farrell was listed in the census of her parents, Edward Patrick Farrell and Eliza Laura "Gram" Steele, on 16 June 1900 at Iron Dyke, Union County, Oregon; Ed's occupation was listed as Miner-Ore. He was a Mineral Prospector and mined mostly Silver, Gold and Copper. The 1900 Census said that Edward was born born in Ireland Sep 1864.2 She was also recorded with her parents on 19 April 1910 at Baker City, Baker County, Oregon.3 Ruby married Clarence Edwin Twaddle, son of James E. Twaddle and Cora E. Noel, after 5 June 1917 at California.4,5,6 Ruby M Twaddle, appeared as an inmate on the Census for the Stockton State Hospital of 15 January 1920 in Ward 4, Stockton, California. She appeared on Line 97, page 16B. The hospital was the first public mental health hospital in California. The hospital is #1016 on the Office of Historic Preservation's California Historical Landmark list, and today is home to California State University's Stanislaus - Stockton Center. A cemetery for patients who died there is located on the property.7 Ruby died on 20 June 1929 at San Joaquin County, California, at age 29.8,9
