William Duncan was born in April 1797 at Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David Duncan.1 William Duncan married Isabella McCune on 5 October 1820 at Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.1 William Duncan and Rebecca Brady Duncan Just an observation! The William Duncan who married Isabella McCune may well have been Rebecca Duncan Kreamer's father. How ever, the David Duncan (probably Rebecca's grandfather), living with Rebecca and Jacob, at least based on the available census information, does not seem to have been the same David who fathered William. If William's age is reported correctly, the David living with the Jacob P. Cramer's would have been no more than 15 when William was born. While not impossible, not probable. Isabell is widowed by 1850 and living next to some of the McCune's in Cumberland County. She was certainly born before 1800. If the William she married was Rebecca's father, he was likely a lot younger than she and was certainly born after 1800.2
