     Samuel Burroughs Barber was born on 10 October 1835.1 He was the son of Enock Barber and A. (?)2 Samuel Burroughs Barber appeared on the census of Samuel Burrus (grandfather?) Of 30 September 1850 in Ashbys, Fauquier County, Virginia; This census also included what is probably Samuel's uncle John B. Burrus/Burroughs and wife Lousisa, His sister Elizabeth Barber(18) and brother John Barber(16).3 He also appeared on the census of John and Mary Burroughs (uncle and aunt?) Of 25 September 1860 in Millview P.O., Fauquier County, Virginia.4 Samuel married Adelaid Coffman Wallace, daughter of Thomas Wallace and Anne Coffman, on 12 February 1870 at Stafford, Virginia.1,5 Samuel and Addie Barbour appeared on the census of 24 September 1870 in Stevensburg, Culpeper County, Virginia.6 Samuel Burroughs Barber died on 8 November 1881 at Fauquier County, Virginia, at age 46.1

Sweezy and Elizabeth Wilcox.2 Mallissa M(atilda) Sweezy married William A Guyott, son of John Guyott and Rachel Mallery, on 23 July 1853 at Allegan County, Michigan.1,4,5 Mary and William appeared on the census of 27 June 1860 in Comstock, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.3 Malissa and William also appeared on the census of 8 August 1870 in Hopkins, Allegan County, Michigan.4 They appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigon.6 Melissa was included in the census of her son-in-law and Daugher, John and Etta Pratt, in 1894 at Walker Township.7 Malissa and William last appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 in Walker Township, Kent County, Michigan; This census included granddaughter Mallissa J. Pratt, daughter of daughter Etta and her husband John Pratt.1 Mallissa M(atilda) Sweezy and William A Guyott last appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 in Home, Montcalm County, Michigan.8 While at least one other person reported that Mallissa died on 22 October 1901 at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, she is present on with William on the 1910 census.      John McKenzie John was an African Missionary from 1858 nearly until the time of his death. The source for this note has documented a number of references cocerning his life's work.2 He was born in 1836 at Knockando, Morayshire, Scotland.2 He married Ellen Douglas, daughter of William Douglas and Anne Oliver Bruce, on 27 April 1858 at Duddingston, Midlothian, Scotland.1 John McKenzie died on 23 March 1899 at Kemberly, Cape Province, South Africa.2

Herrington, a man whom everyone in Council, at least among the older generation, knew and called by his first name, died at Kooskia, Idaho, on May 24, 1922, and the body was shipped to his old home...., where it arrived last Saturday and was buried in the local cemetery, the same day. Deceased was born January 31, 1836, in Iowa. From there he moved to Kansas just before the beginning of the Civil war. He enlisted in the service and served with a Kansas regiment. From Kansas, Herrigton moved to Colorado, where he lived about five years, coming to Idaho in 1876 settling in Salubria valley. Three years later he came to Council Valley. In 1861 Mr. Herrington was married to Miss Lucy (i.e. Martha) Loveless, who died nearly 50 years ago in Kansas. To them were born six children, three of whom survive, as follows: Lewis C. Herrington of Kooskia, Idaho; Mrs. Mary Draper Tamarack, and Robert, of Council.8

Jacobson.2 Christian married Siri Gudbrandsdatter Hagen, daughter of Ellena Ammonson, on 31 March 1861 at Gran, Oppland, Norway.1 Christian and Siri appeared in the United States on the census of 30 June 1870 in Riceland, Freeborn County, Minnesota; This census included Jacob Jacobson, age 29 (brother?) and Aimie Nelson, age 73 (?)3 Christian and Siri also appeared on the State Census of 1875 in Riceland, Freeborn County, Minnesota.4 They appeared on the census of 9 June 1880 in Riceland; This census included Ellena Ammonson, age 76, Mother-in-law.5 Christian was included in the census of his son and daugher-in-law, Nels and Tilda, on 13 June 1900 at Riceland, Freeborn County, Minnesota; This census included a sister-in-law, Tilda Jacobson, age 21?2 Christian Jacobson died on 4 January 1924 at Albert Lea, Freeborn County, Minnisota, at age 87.1

The 1900 U.S. Census indecated year as 1838.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas B. Flanary and Mary "Nancy" Lock.1 Jacob was included in the census of his parents, Thomas and Nancy Flanary, on 23 September 1850 at Western District, Scott County, Virginia.1 He was also included in the census of his parents on 26 June 1860 at Travellers Rest P.O., Owsley County, Kentucky.4 Jacob Flanary married Martha J. Hartsock, daughter of Jonathan Hartsock and Mary Polly Bundy, circa 1861 at Kentucky.5,3,2 Jacob Flanary and Martha J.
