The census includes 10 slaves".3 Armistead K(elly) Armstrong was included in the census of his mother Cynthia Davenport Spilman on 22 October 1850 at Culpeper County.4 Armistead K(elly) Armstrong died before 1860 at Virginia; Does not appear on any U.S. Census after 1850.5

     Mary Simpson Brown was born on 21 December 1821.1 She was the daughter of Governor Thomas Brown and Elizabeth Simpson.1 She married James Tillinghast Archer, son of Hugh Archer and Susan Matilda Tillinghast, on 13 December 1843 at Leon County, Florida.1,2,3 Mary and James Archer appeared on the census of October 1850 in 8th Division, Leon County, Floriada.4 Mary, appearently a widow, appeared on the census of 24 July 1860 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.5 She is running the City Hotel when she appeared on the census of 11 July 1870 in Tallahassee, Florida.6 Mary, her daughter Susan and sister Margaret, appear on the census of 22 July 1880 in Tallahassee.7 Mary Simpson Brown died on 27 May 1894 at age 72.1

     Phoebe Ann Brown was born on 24 February 1822 at Alabama.1 She was the daughter of Nancy (?)2 Phoebe Ann Brown married Levi Murphee, son of Ransom Murphree and Mary M. Walker, before 1839 at Mississippi.1,3 Phoebe Ann Brown and Levi Murphee appeared on the census of 30 October 1850 in Western Division, Chickasaw County, Mississippi.3 Phoebe Ann Brown and Levi Murphee appeared on the census of 24 July 1860 in Cherry Hill P.O., Calhoun County, Mississippi.4 Phoebe Ann Brown and Levi Murphee appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in Beat 2, Calhoun County, Mississippi; This census include Nancy Brown, age 80, probably Phoebe's mother.2 Phoebe Ann Brown died on 26 November 1893 at Calhoun County, Mississippi, at age 71.5 She and Levi Murphee Listed as a son and a daughter, John (10) and Dora (6) would have been born after Phoebe turned 47 which, though not impossible , might indicated that they were infact grandchildren of Levi and Phoebe.2

     Lewis Carlisle Davidson was born on 14 March 1822 at Onondaga County, New York.1,2 He was the son of John Davidson and Rhoda Mudge.1 Lewis Carlisle Davidson married Amelia Finet Davis, daughter of Judge Ezekiel F Davis and Amelia (?), circa 1845.1 Lewis Carlisle Davidson and Amelia Finet Davis appeared on the census of 23 July 1850 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.1 Lewis Carlisle Davidson married Charlotte Fidelia Davis, daughter of Judge Ezekiel F Davis and Amelia (?), after 25 December 1852 at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan. She was a younger sister of his first wife Amelia Davis.3 Lewis Carlisle Davidson died on 2 June 1907 at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, at age 85.2 He The fallowing was posted at Finda-A-Grave: "Lewis Carlisle Davidson was the son of John and Rhoda Mudge Davidson. The family left New York in the early 1830s to come to Michigan. They stopped first in Ann Arbor, where some of the family settled permanently. - Lewis became a well known contractor and built many of the early buildings in Grand Rapids. He married Amelia Davis on December 4, 1844 and with her had four children. Following Amelia's death in 1852, he married her sister, Charlotte in July of 1855. Together, they raised another seven children".

     Edwin Elias Burtis was born on 22 March 1822 at New York.1,3 He was the son of Jacob Hicks Burtis and Elizabeth Arabella Carman.4,5 Edwin Elias Burtis was recorded Civial War Draft Registration Record, 1863-1865 in June 1832 at McLean County, Illinois.6 He married Sarah Lewis circa 1843 at Illinois.1 Edwin Elias Burtis and Sarah Lewis appeared on the census of 3 October 1850 in Money Creek, McLean County, Illinois.2 They appeared on the census of 25 July 1860 in Hudson, McLean County, Illinois.1 Edwin Elias Burtis died on 14 March 1869 at McLean County, Illinois, at age 46; Burial: Hudson Cemetery, McLean County, Illinois.3
