     Cornelius Aldophus Cutchins was born on 17 January 1859 at Virginia.2,4,3 He was the son of John Anthony Cutchins and Treacy Holland.3 Cornelius Aldophus Cutchins married Lelia J. Armstrong, daughter of Joseph Norris Armstrong and Mary Francis Corbin, circa 1885 at Virginia.1,2,4 Cornelius Aldophus Cutchins and Lelia J. Armstrong appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 in Holy Neck, Nansemond County, Virginia.4 Cornelius and Lelia appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 in Franklin, Virginia.5 They appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 in Franklin, Southampton County, Virginia.2,1 He died on 30 November 1923 at Nansemon County, Virginia, at age 64.3

     Alexander Evans "Pike" Steele was also known as "Pike".2 He was born on 27 January 1859 at Jackson County, Missouri.3 He was the son of Griffith Dickerson Steele and Mary Evans.1 "Pike" was included with his father, Griffith Dickerson Steels, in the census of his grandparents, Alexander Pleasant Steele and Sarah B. Dickerson, on 17 July 1860 at Sni a bar, Jackson County, Missouri.1 He was included in the census of father and step-mother, Griffith Dickerson Steele and Eliza Jane Smith, on 1 August 1870 at Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado.4 Pike was also included in the census of Griffith and Eliza Steele on 3 June 1880 at Weston, Oregon.5 He married Jeannette Grant Barber, daughter of Thomas Young Barber and Louisa "Susan" Young, on 5 May 1884 at Walla Walla County, Washington.6,7,8 Between 1893 and 1897, Pike and Jeannette migrated to at Trail, British Columbia, Canada.9 Alexander Evans "Pike" Steele and Jeannette Grant Barber appeared on the census of 27 April 1901 in Trail City, Rassland Riding, Yale and Cariboo, British Columbia, Canada.10 Jeannette and "Pike" appeared on the census of 1911 at 473 Gone, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.11 Alexander Evans "Pike" Steele Alexander made a passport application to travel with his wife, Jenette G. to leave form the port of New Orleans aboard the United Fruit Line on December 15, 1919 to Cuba on Merchantile Business. In an affidavit he swor "that he was a native of Jackson County, in the State of Missouri, and that he was born in said County of Jacskson on the 27th day of January, A.D. 1859; that he was born on a farm about twenty miles from the City of Indepaenence, the County Seat of said Jackson County, and that according to his best information and belief no record has ever been kept, and is therefore obtainable of his said birth; -- that affiant is married, having been married to Jenette Barber in the year 1884, in the City of Walla Walla, State of Washinton ; that three sons were born of said marriage, all of whom are majors and all of whom have served in the Army of the United States during the past war:" on 24 November 1919 at Los Angeles, California.12 They were recorded on the census of 21 February 1920 in San Diego, San Diego County, California.13 He and Jeannette Grant Barber were found on a passenger list on 20 June 1920 at New Orleans, Louisiana. Arrriving from Havana, Cuba aboard the S.S. Hermdia.14 They had moved to Los Angeles by the census of 19 April 1930 in Los Angeles, California.6 They also appeared on the census of 6 April 1940 in Los Angeles.15 Alexander Evans "Pike" Steele died on 14 March 1951 at 1927 Bradshaw Avenue, Monterey Park, Los Angeles County, California, at age 92.3 He Alexanders passport papers in 1919 indicate that there were only 3 sons born to his marriage to Jeannette. Was he only reffering to his U.S. born son's? Son Mark Twain Steele was born in British Columbia, Canada. Since they have never been found together, it is also possible that Thomas and Eugene are the same person!12

     Uriah Wolf Pratt was born in April 1859.5 He was the son of Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison.1,4 He was first listed in the census of his parents, Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison, on 19 July 1860 at Walker Township, Kent County, Michigan.6 He also was listed in the census of his parents on 24 August 1870 at Walker Township.7 Uriah Wolf Pratt Frpm am article in the Grand Rapids Evening Leader: "Uriah Pratt, of Walker, was taken to the Lalamazoo asylum this afternoon by Deputy Sheriff Turner". Quest;ion? Which of the tree Uriah's was this. on 29 November 1880 at Walker, Kent County, Michigan.8 Uriah was again listed with his parents during the Michigan State census of in 1884 at Walker; Michigan State Census. When or why he moved to California isn't knowen, but Uriah Wolf Pratt married Estella Heryford, daughter of Thomas Heryford and Elizabeth (?), on 3 September 1890 at Neenach, Los Angeles County, California.9,10 Estella was boarding with her sister and husband, Robert and Lizzie Gilmore when Uriah, who listed himself as a single farmer when appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 in Fairmont, Los Angeles County, California.5 He must have been divorced from Estella for he married Annie White, daughter of Moses White and Anna Cushing, on 23 January 1909 at Los Angeles, California.11,12 Uriah was mining when he and Annie appeared together on the census of 29 April 1910 in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County.11 Uriah was still mining when he appeared living with his forman on the census of 28 January 1920 in Riverside, California.13 Still listing himself as married, Uriah Wolf Pratt listed himself as an Agriculturalist in Fruit when he last appeared on the census of 23 April 1930 in Fairmont, Los Angeles County.14 Uriah died on 5 February 1934 at Los Angeles County, California, at age 74.15

From the 1900 census, it appears that Herman was a widower with two small children.3,4,5 Matilda appeared as a widow on the census of 15 June 1900 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.6 Still listinger herself as married, she also appears on the census of 29 April 1910 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.4 Matilda, by then listing herself as a widdow, also appeared on the census of 17 February 1920 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.7 She also appeared on the census of 11 April 1930 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.8 Ottilie Mathilde Emma "Matilda" Gomoll appeared on the census of 15 April 1940 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.9 She died on 31 October 1945 at Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at age 85 years, 9 months and 25 Days.      Robert Lee Calhoun was born circa March 1860 at Texas.2,4 He was the son of James Calhoun and Eliazabeth "Eliza" P.      Frederick Eglington was also known as Fred Eggleton.3 He was born in March 1860 at Illinois.1 He was the son of John C Eglington and Rebecca Pierson.2 Frederick Eglington was recorded in the census of his parents, John and Rebecca Eglington, John C Eglington on 26 July 1860 at Bristol, Kendall County, Illinois.4 Fred was also with his parents for the census on 23 June 1870 at Bristol, Kendall County, Illinois.5 Frederick Eglington married Leona Castella Frost, daughter of Horace Frost and Elizabeth Mann, in 1880.1 Frederick was recorded in the census of his in-laws, Horace Frost and Elizabeth Mann, on 4 June 1880 at Charter Oak, Crawford County, Iowa.3 Fred and Leona also appeared on the census of 6 June 1900 in Redwood Township, Santa Clara County, California.1 They appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 in Poe Valley, Klamath County, Oregon.6 They appeared on the census of 2 February 1920 in Los Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.7 Frederick Eglington died on 13 August 1923 at Los Angeles County, California, at age 63.8
