The fallowing was extracted from a Corrected Copy of Thomas' orders attachted to Rebekah's passport application: "Headquarters, Coast Artillery Training Camp, Fort Monroe, Va., November 27, 1917. Special Orders No. 53. CORRECTED COPY Extract: 1. Pursuant to instructions from the War Department contained in letter from The Adjutant General of the Army dated November 15, 1917, the fallowing assignments of officers are announced. The officers of the Reserve Corps are placed on active duty to take effect this date;" on 15 November 1917 at Canal Zone., Panama.5 Rebecca and Thomas Thropp appeared on the census of 26 January 1920 in Washington, District of Columbia.6 He was found on a passenger list of the S.S. Berengaria sailing from Southampton on 30 April 1927 at New York, New York.7 Thomas and Rebekah also appeared on the census of 15 April 1930 in Washington, District of Columbia.3 Thomas died on 11 September 1958 at Towson, Baltimore County, Maryland, at age 65.2

     Zella Litzenberg Montross was born on 19 August 1893 at Alabama.1,2 She was the daughter of Cory Penn Montross and Margaret "Maggie" Lorena Pratt.1 She was included during the census of her parents, Cory and Maggie Montross, on 9 June 1900 at Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.3 Zella was also listed with her parents for the census of 14 April 1910 at 1040 Christopher Ave., Gadsden, Etowa County, Alabama.4 Zella Litzenberg Montross married Harold P. Crawford on 19 September 1914 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.5,6 Zella and Harold appeared on the census of 3 January 1920 in Detroit.7 On 3 April 1930 they were recorded with Zella's brother Christopher and wife vera at Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan.8 Zella Litzenberg Montross died on 19 July 1995 at Royal Oak, Oakland, Michigan, at age 101.2 She and Harold P. Crawford appered to have had no children.9
