     William Raab Pratt was born on 7 February 1924 at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois.1,2 He was the son of William Reen Pratt and Elsie Flornce Darby. William Raab Pratt was listed in the census of his parents, William Reen Pratt and Elsie Flornce Darby, on 18 April 1930 at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois.1 Bill Jr. was also included in the census of his parents on 5 April 1940 at Belvidere, Illinois.3 Bill Jr. inslisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He served at Guadalcanal, Okinawa, other Ryukyu Islands and China. He was called back for the Korean Conflict but recieved a Humanitarian Discharge when his father died and he became the only provider for his extendid family. Later he joined the Naval reserves and every February did his two week active duty in Cuba.4 William Raab Pratt married Charlotte Taylor, daughter of Wesley M. "Bubbles" Taylor and Mina J. Alderman, on 9 July 1946 at Rockford, Boone County, Illinois.5,6 After Bill and Charlotte Pratt divorced, Bill married Marilyn Jean Taylor, daughter of John R. Taylor and Marian E. Jenner, on 30 June 1950 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.5,7      Bill Pratt is remembered as fun loving person and known by everyone in Belvidere. Fond of wild things, he often brought home wild animals, especially raccoons. Being an electrician, he would wire up various things so that when anybody (including his children) would touch the item they would receive a very mild shock. He had a big hart and like his father before him, he belonged to Belvidere's chartable organization the I.O.U. Club. In one instance, he borrowed $10,000 which he then donated to the Club as leverage to acquired a YMCA chapter for Belvidere's young people. He was generous to a fault caring IOU's worth thousands of dollars sometimes for years. He told one of his daughter that "when and if the person had the money they would pay it back and if not it wasn't important. Among other things, he was a pilot, President of the local Civil Defense in Belvidere and a Ham radio operator which he used to communicated with people all over the world. One of the people he used his Ham radio to talked with was a cousin of his father's, Raymond Goelitz. In all, he was remembered as a wonderful, thoughtful man.4 He died in April 1987 at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois, at age 63.8

     Elmer Ray Brunker was born on 28 February 1924.1 He married Betty June Perkins, daughter of Charles W Perkins and Bessie Marie Orup, on 10 June 1950 at Wyandotte County, Missouri.1 Elmer Ray Brunker died on 1 July 2017 at Kansas at age 93; From an obiturary posted on Find-A-Grave: "Elmer Ray Brunker, Sr., 93, of Olathe, Kansas, died on July 1, 2017 at the Olathe Hospice House. He was born on February 29, 1924 in Bethel, Missouri, to William Clem and Elsie Marie (Poulsen) Brunker. He had three sibings: Lester, Helen, and William. He attended Washington Rural High School and then attended Kansas City, Kansas Junior College. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on August 23, 1944. He was assigned to the 1537th Engineering Service Company overseas in New Guinea and Luzon. He participated in the battles and campaigns of the South Phillippines"; "He married Betty June Perkins on June 10, 1950 at the Welborn Community Church. Since they both worked in Kansas City, Missouri they lived in Eastern Kansas City. On March 5, 1951, they moved to the farm South of Olathe, Kansas. Their son, Elmer Ray Brunker, Jr. was born February 16, 1954";"He and his son, Ray, and grandson, Charlie, farmed together the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June in 2008; and son, Elmer Ray Brunker, Jr. He is survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren".1

Jones witnessed the census of Charles Eugene Jones and Marguerite Raymond Simons on 19 April 1930 at Washington, D. C..2 Eugene S. Jones was included in the census of Marguerite Raymond Simons on 18 June 1940 at Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland.5 Eugene S. Jones was recorded on a World War II Draft Registration Card in 1943 at Washington, District of Columbia.4 He married Natalie Reiff, daughter of Isadore Reiff and Lillian E. (?), before 7 July 1956.6,7 Eugene S. Jones and Natalie Reiff were found on a passenger list on 7 July 1956 at New York, New York.7 Eugene S. Jones died on 2 October 2020 at Los Angeles County, California, at age 95; JONES--Eugene S. August 1, 1925 - October 2, 2020. Eugene S. Jones was born in the District of Columbia in 1925. He was a decorated war time correspondent and a Pulitzer Prize nominated photojournalist. Gene was wounded multiple times in active combat as a United States Marine and was awarded five Purple Hearts. His career as a foreign correspondent spanned over forty years during which time he traveled the globe chronicling history making events alongside his wife, Natalie R. Jones, becoming American television's first overseas film team. Gene was a pioneer of modern reality TV programming and was a multi- award winning television producer and director. His credits include Oscar nominated documentary The Wild and the Brave, Senior Field Producer of NBC's WIDE WIDE WORLD and Unit Producer of the TODAY show program among many others. Gene is the last surviving of the famous Jones twins who covered the White House during administrations that included JFK, Johnson and Nixon. Gene died peacefully at 95 in his home in Los Angeles, California. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Natalie, in 2014.8

     Ira E "Jack" Ensminger was born on 4 August 1925 at Proctorr, Morgan County, Missouri.1,2 He was the son of Charles Arthur Ensminger and Hazel Perkins.1 Ira E "Jack" Ensminger was included in the census of Charles Arthur Ensminger and Hazel Perkins on 10 April 1930 at Buffalo, Morgan County, Missouri.3 Ira E "Jack" Ensminger was included during the census of his parents, Charles Arthur Ensminger and Hazel Perkins, on 16 April 1940 at Buffalo, Morgan County, Missouri.4 Ira E "Jack" Ensminger died on 24 October 2013 at Cole Camp, Benton County, Missouri, at age 88; Posted at Find-A-Grave: Ira E. "Jack" Ensminger, age 88, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp. He was born August 4, 1925, in Proctor, Missouri, a son of the late Charles Arthur and Hazel (Perkins) Ensminger. On July 25, 1944, in Versailles, he was united in marriage to Esther Hafer, who survives the home. Jack retired from the U.S. Postal Service and enjoyed farming in his spare time. He was a United States Army veteran having served in WWII from 1944 to 1946. He was stationed in the Philippines where he served in the Infantry. Jack was awarded the Purple Heart for his service to his country. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Sedalia, was a former Deacon of the Versailles First Baptist Church and was a member of the Jolly Elders in Sedalia whom he enjoyed traveling with on many trips.
Jack enjoyed gardening and raccoon hunting. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured the time he spent with them. In addition to his wife, Esther, he is survived by his daughters, Theila Luetjen and husband Rodger of Cole Camp, Missouri, Elaine Tipton of Springfield, Missouri and Ellen Howery and husband Larry of Sedalia, Missouri; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Sue Ensminger, his brother, Lemoyne Ensminger and his sister, Emogene Ensminger.1,2

     Warren Harry Albright was born on 28 October 1925 at Illinois.1 He was the son of Harry William Albright and Myrtle Brown.1 Warren Harry Albright was recorded in the census of Myrtle Brown and Harry William Albright on 3 April 1930 at Chicago (districts 501-750), Cook County, Illinois.3 Warren Harry Albright was included in the census of Harry William Albright and Myrtle Brown on 26 April 1940 at Chicago.4 Waren married Maxine Shultz circa 1959.5,2 As of December 1981, the address of Warren Harry Albright was 1325 S.E. 163rd Ave., Portland, Oregon.5 He died on 9 June 2007 at Corvallis, Oregon, at age 81; Madras bituaries of week of 6-20-07: Warren Albright; Warren Harry Albright of Corvallis, died June 9, of heart failure. He was 81. Mr. Albright was born Oct. 29, 1925, to Harry W. and Myrtle M. Albright and spent his early childhood in Chicago. His family lived in Arizona and California before settling in Oregon in 1938. Albright graduated from Sandy High School. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Upon discharge, he enrolled in Vanport College. In 1948, he escaped the school only moments before a flood destroyed the town. He graduated from WillameOtte University in 1950 and enrolled in the law school there, where he earned a doctorate in jurisprudence in 1952. In 1952, he moved to Madras, and became an attorney in private practice. In 1956 he won election to the office of Jefferson County district attorney. In 1974, he moved to Portland where he retired from the Civil Rights Division of the state of Oregon in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maxine E. (Shultz) Albright; five children: daughter, Sarah of Portland, and sons, Bob and wife Diana of Corvallis, Pat and wife Gin of Eugene, Evan and wife Lori of Bourne, Mass., and Stuart and wife Margaret of Portland; sister, Lois Thornton, of Salem; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His eldest son, Richard D."Rusty" Albright, died in 2003. McHenry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. No public services are planned.2

Faith was born December 4, 1925, in Tipton, IN, daughter of the late Carl and Vallie Ludwig. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1943, and received a BS degree in microbiology from Purdue University in 1947. She moved to Wilmington in 1971. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Faith was an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, Fraims Senior Center, and being with her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Allen Montross, in 1973; and 3 brothers, Carl, Charles and Albert Lee Ludwig. She is survived by her son, Kim, and his wife, Karen, of Denver, CO; and her daughter, Kay, and her husband, Cliff Deakyne, of Wilmington, and Christine, and her husband, Rich Schultz, of Saratoga, CA. Survivors also include 6 grandchildren, Lara and Bryan Montross, Ann and Bruce Deakyne, Emma Mon-tross and Eric Schultz."1

C..5 Richard "Buddy" Wilmer Littwin Sr was included in the census of Rebecca "Boo" Templeman Armstrong on 12 April 1940 at Washington, District of Columbia.7 Richard "Buddy" Wilmer Littwin Sr married Mary Harrow circa 1951.8 Richard "Buddy" Wilmer Littwin Sr married Donna Lynn, daughter of Edward Lynn, on 4 June 1955 at South Bend, Indiana.9 Richard "Buddy" Wilmer Littwin Sr was recorded on a obituary of Rebecca "Boo" Templeman Armstrong on 16 January 1967 at Alexandria, Virginia; From an obituary: "Mead, Rebecc A. On Monday, January 16, 1967, at Alexandria Hospital. REBECCA A. Mead of 7215 Tanager st. Springfield, Va., wife of Bernard O. Mead; mother of Marguerite K. Littwin and Richard Wilmer Littwin; sister of Mrs. H. E. Burke, California, and Mr. Harry R. Armstrong, Maryland. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren".10 Richard "Buddy" Wilmer Littwin Sr died on 7 March 2001 at Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, at age 74.6
