Violet was recorded during the census of her parents, Edward Patrick Farrell and Eliza Laura "Gram" Steele, on 19 April 1910 at Baker City, Baker County, Oregon.2 She was also one of six childr listed in the census of her parents on 17 January 1920 at Auburn, California.3 Violet first married Cornelius Parson Plummer, son of Amos Parson Plummer and Sarah Tipple, at California. He was a brother of her sister Edna's husband Spencer (Amos) Plummer. Neil died of internal injuries recieved as he rode as a mechanic in a race car driven by Clyde Rader. The car skided, throwing him into its eventual path.4 Violet married secondly, Donald Richard Burke, son of Charles Hamilton Burke and Lucy Antoinette Holcomb, circa 1926.5 Violet and Donald Burke appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 in Westwood, Lassen County, California.6 Violet and Don also appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 in Westwood, California.7 After Donald Burke's death, Violet lastly married Harold Bridson "Bob" Fowler, son of Edwin Kidder Fowler and Eva Louise Christian, at Placerville, El Dorado County, California.4 She died at Sacremento, California, at age 69.1
