He was married to Frieda Albright in Chicago in 1919. She died in 1965. In 1968, he was married to Frieda Rasmussen, She survives. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and was active with the Stevens Point Senior Citizens. - Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Robert, 1801 Mary's Drive and Fred Jr., 5224 Highway F, town of Plover: two stepsons, Richard and Toim Rasmussen, both of Chicago; and two granchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, ghree sisters and one grandson.^4,6 He was buried at Restlawn Cemetery, Wisconsin; Newar Wisconsin Rapids.⁴
