     Rosita Anne Farrell was born on 26 December 1904 at Homestead, Oregon. She was the daughter of Edward Patrick Farrell and Eliza Laura "Gram" Steele.1 Rosita appears on the census of her parents, Edward Patrick Farrell and Eliza Laura "Gram" Steele, on 19 April 1910 at Baker City, Baker County, Oregon.2 She was also one of six children included in the census of her parents on 17 January 1920 at Auburn, California.3 Rosita Anne Farrell
     Rosita Farrell was just 18 years old when her father died. After high shcool she furthered her education eventually teaching at Ceres High School which is located in the city of Ceres, which is located in the central San Joaquin Valley, 80 miles south of Sacramento and 95 miles east of San Francisco, in the heart of Stanislaus County, California.1
     On 8 January 1927 she married Burwell Wilson "Sarge" Reynolds, son of Richard Reynolds and Josephine Elizabeth Ober, at Stockton, California; The marriage was blessed by the church in Auburn or Placerville, California.4
     After their marriage Rosita and Sarge, along with their first born daughter Joyce, on the census of 7 April 1930 at Rose Avennue, Placerville, El Dorado County, California.5 Sarge and Rosita appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 in Eden (Hayward), Alameda County, California.6 She died on 2 November 1993 at Hilltop Manor Convolescent Home, Auburn, Placer County, California, at age 88.4,7 After Sarge left the Highway Patrol, Rosita was actively evolved in various business ventures including the operation of their Restaurant, "Sarge's", their Appliance store and Laundromat.
