     Charles Henry Pratt was born on 7 November 1888 at Walker Township, Kent County, Michigan. His WWI draft card lists his birthdate as 21 October.3 He was the son of Uriah Hitite Pratt and Arminda Coon.2
     Charles was listed in the census of his father and step-mother, Uriah Hitite Pratt and Olive E. De Mander, on 16 June 1900 at Kent County; By 1900, Uriah had given up farming and his occupation was listed as a lumber inspector.2 On 17 April 1910Charles appeared on the census in The Michigan Reformatory, Easton, Ionia County, Michigan; He listed father as born in England, Mother in born in Ohio.4 On 6 May 1917 at Jackson County, Michigan, His World War I draft card listed him in the M.S.P (Michigan State Prison) system, with no occupation. He states that he was born in Grand Rapids, 21 Oct 1888.5      On 2 April 1930He appeared as an inmate on the US census at the State Penitentiary, Lee County, Iowa. As further proof that this Charles Henry Pratts was a son of Uriah is is based on his age, place of birth and that his father was listed as comming from England and his Mother from Ohio.6 Charles Henry was included on the census of 20 April 1940 also in the Iowa State Penitentiary, Fort Madison, Lee County, Iowa.7
     Charles Henry Pratt died on 13 December 1950 at The Iowa State Penitentiary at age 62;
     Charles Henry was a habitual thief spending most of his life in criminal institutions eventually dieing at the Iowas State Prison. An e-mail from Debbie Gowen: Compiled by Sally Youngquist july 2009 (Contributed by PM) details his burial site. This cemetery is reported to be at the south edge of the prison farm, adjacent to Cherry Grove on the north side. The early burials were originally in the prison and were moved to a common grave noted with the symbol * ahead of the given name. The listings I have are from the death book and information received from the Iowa State Penitentiary. 2005 Old Fort Genealogical Society.8 He was a habitual criminal spending most of his life in prison.9

     Eleanor Lloyd Butler was born on 29 November 1888 at Shepherdstown, Jefferson County, West Virginia.1,3 She was the daughter of Charles Thomas Vansweainger Butler and Elizabeth "Bette" Little Craighill.1 Eleanor Lloyd Butler was included in the census of Charles Thomas Vansweainger Butler and Elizabeth "Bette" Little Craighill on 11 June 1900 at Shepherdstown, Jefferson County, West Virginia.4 Eleanor Lloyd Butler was included in the census of Elizabeth "Bette" Little Craighill on 16 April 1910 at Shepherdstown, West Virginia.1 Eleanor married Charles Schley Mercein, son of Thomas royce Mercein and Lucy Mary Schley, on 11 September 1912 at Jefferson County, West Virginia.5,6,2 Elenor and Charles Mercein appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 in Whitefish Bay, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.5 Charles and Eleanor also appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 in Whitefish Bay.7 A widowed Eleanor Butler Mercein appeared on the census of 27 April 1940 in Whitefish Bay, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.8 Eleanor died on 15 February 1969 at Dobbs Ferry, Winchester County, New York, at age 80.6
