     "Uncle Fred" died suddenly on 3 November 1958 at Orland at age 51; From and obituary published in the Rockford Morning Star, Wed., Nov. 5, 1958: " Surviving are hia widow: three daughters, Marjory Pratt, Mrs. Marilyn Akin, and Mrs. Frances McCollum; two grandchildren; a sister; a brother, and a nephew, William R. Pratt, Berlvidere".¹⁰ He was buried on 6 November 1958 at Orland, Glenn County, California.¹¹
     When Fred first went from Illinois to California, he worked as a lineman for the Telephone Co. in Orland, Glenn County, California. By 1940, he was the Superintendent for the Orland City Water Department. Although not found on a roster, during WWII, he served in the Seabee's in the Soutn Pacific theater. After the war, he worked as a lock smith, bicycle repair, operated Pratt's Hobby Shop, operated emergency phone service for the Orland area and drove the area's only ambulance.^12,3

Mr. Ellis was a laborer at the Sheffield Steel plant in KC. He was married to Claudine Ellis. He was killed accidentally while at work. He died of a fractured skull when he was hit by a chain on a crane".¹

     Lou Ella Piper was born on 27 June 1907 at Missoula, Montana.^1,3,4 She was the daughter of Geroge S(G) Piper and Mary Lowe.^1,3 Lou Ella Piper was included in the census of Geroge S(G) Piper and Mary Lowe on 18 April 1910 at Kalispell city, Flathead County, Montana.¹ Lou Ella Piper was included in the census of Tiersa Louise Margarette Dickerson on 8 January 1920 at Spokane.⁵ Lou Ella Piper married Robert Alexander Waterston, son of Alexander Waterston and Emma May Richards, on 1 August 1925 at Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada; Certificate Type: License;
Registration Number: 25-09-295718.^2,6,3 After their marriage immigrated in 1925.⁶ Lou Ella Piper and Robert Alexander Waterston appeared on the census of 26 April 1930 in West Chiloquin, Klamath County, Oregon.⁶ They appeared on the census of 23 April 1940 in Medford, Jackson County, Oregon.⁷ Lou Ella Piper A Social Security Application was made in the Name of Lou E Bell. The application provided the fallowing information: "Father: George G. Piper; Mother: Mary Low; Notes: 30 Jun 1975: Name listed as LOU E NELSON; 21 Mar 1968: Name listed as LOU E BELL", on 23 March 1968.⁴ She died in January 1993 at age 85.⁴

     Homer N Phillips was born on 7 July 1907 at Missouri.² He was the son of Duff Green Phillips and Lucy I Steele.¹ Homer N Phillips married Eva Amelia Roberts after 10 April 1930 at New Mexico.^2,3 Homer N Phillips and Eva Amelia Roberts appeared on the census of 21 May 1940 in Conchas Dam, San Miguel County, New Mexico.³ Homer N Phillips died on 30 September 1969 at New Mexico at age 62.²

     Martin Jocobus Houweling was born on 20 July 1907 at Holland.¹ He was the son of Jacobus Martinus Houweling and Petronella Catherina Schrama.¹ Martin Jocobus Houweling married Jansje Martina TenTheye on 21 November 1928 at Holland.^1,2 Martin Jocobus Houweling died on 5 October 1984 at Marin County, California, at age 77.¹

     Anna Ruth Morris was born on 13 August 1907 at Texas.^1,2 She was the daughter of W. L. Morris and Hortense (?)³ Anna Ruth Morris was included in the census of her parents, W. L. Morris and Hortense (?), on 16 April 1910 at Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas.³ Anna Ruth Morris married Addison Yancey Gunter, son of Samuel Ligon Gunter and Mabel Giddens, on 4 September 1928 at Cooke County, Texas.^1,2 Anna Ruth Morris died on 11 July 2000 at Cooke County, Texas, at age 92; Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Cooek County, Texas.²

     Viva "Iva" Bell Lingenfelter was born on 13 August 1907 at West Virginia.^4,3 She was the daughter of Charles Sturgeon Lingenfelter and Nancy Christine Richards.³ Viva "Iva" Bell Lingenfelter married James Crockett Walker, son of David Johnson Walker and Leona Sidna "Sidney" Neel, on 18 August 1933 at Raleigh County, West Virginia.^4,2 Viva "Iva" Bell Lingenfelter and James Crockett Walker appeared on the census of 16 May 1940 in Rocky Gap, Bland County, Virginia.¹ Viva "Iva" Bell Lingenfelter married Orina Harrison Fulton in 1981.³

     Anna "Nan" E. Reynolds was born on 4 September 1907 at California.^1,3 She was the daughter of William James Reynolds and Annie E. Jack.¹ Anna "Nan" E. Reynolds was recorded in the census of Richard Reynolds and Elizabeth J. Hall on 21 April 1910 at Castoria.¹ Anna "Nan" E. Reynolds was included in the census of William James Reynolds and Annie E. Jack on 8 January 1920 at Castoria.⁴ Anna "Nan" E. Reynolds married Joseph E Hampton circa 1925 at California.² Anna "Nan" E.      Harold Frederic "Cotton" Smith was born on 10 September 1907 at Lees Summit, Jackson County, Missouri.^1,3 He was the son of Orville Fredric Smith and Almina Kisiah McCollum.¹ Harold Frederic "Cotton" Smith was included in the census of Orville Fredric Smith and Almina Kisiah McCollum on 26 April 1910 at Bogard, Henry County, Missouri.⁴ Harold Frederic "Cotton" Smith was included in the census of Orville Fredric Smith and Almina Kisiah McCollum on 3 January 1920 at Mount Pleasant, Bates County.¹ Harold Frederic "Cotton" Smith was included in the census of Orville Fredric Smith and Almina Kisiah McCollum on 7 April 1930 at Kansas City, Missouri.⁵ Harold Frederic "Cotton" Smith died on 27 July 1980 at Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas, at age 72; From an obituary posted at Find A Grave "From The Bates County Democrat, Thursday, August 9, 1962" : Born to Orville F. & Almina K (McCollum) Smith, the 5th of 10 children. He married Margaret Lorene Freeburg January 21, 1933 Kansas City, Jackson, MO, and to this union a son and a daughter were born.³

     Margaret Leah Simmons was born on 25 September 1907 at Marshall, Minnisota.^3,1 She was the daughter of Eugene Simmons and Hattie M. (?)² Margaret Leah Simmons married Irving Eugene Alvord, son of Irving Thomas Alvord and Eudora Mary Caroline Jones, on 14 June 1925 at Centralia, Lewis County, Washington.¹ Margaret Leah Simmons and Irving Eugene Alvord appeared on the census of 7 April 1930 in Centralia, Lewis County, Washington.³ Margaret Leah Simmons and Irving Eugene Alvord appeared on the census of 6 April 1940 in Centralia, Lewis County, Washington.⁴ Margaret Leah Simmons died on 19 November 1986 at Centralia, Lewis County, Washington, at age 79.¹

     Marian E. Jenner was born on 27 September 1907 at Morgan Park, Illinois.² She married John R. Taylor, son of George E. Taylor, on 7 August 1926 at Freeport, Illinois.¹ Marian E. Jenner and John R. Taylor appeared on the census of 11 April 1930 in Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois.³ John and Marion also appeared on the census of 15 April 1940 in Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois.⁴ Marian E. Jenner died on 9 May 2001 at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois, at age 93.²

     Aubrey E. Davis was born on 29 September 1907 at California.^1,2 He was the son of Arthur E. Davis and Leora J. (?)³ Aubrey E. Davis was included in the census of his parents, Arthur E. Davis and Leora J. (?), on 21 May 1910 at Fourth Township, Contra Costa County, California.³ Aubrey was also included in the census of his parents on 15 January 1920 at Berkeley, Alameda County, California.⁴ Aubrey E. Davis married Ella Reynolds, daughter of William James Reynolds and Annie E. Jack, before 1 June 1930 at California.¹ Aubrey E. Davis was included in the census of his in-laws, William James Reynolds and Annie E. Jack, on 1 June 1930 at Castoria.¹ Aubrey E. Davis and Ella Reynolds were divorced before 6 May 1940 at California.⁵ A divorced Aubrey E. Davis appeared working at the Bothiro Convalesent Home when he appeared on the census of 6 May 1940 in San Rafael, Marin County, California.⁵ Aubrey died on 10 March 1979 at Marin County, California, at age 71.²

     Edna Gearhart was born on 30 September 1907 at Kentucky.^1,4 She was the daughter of Dock V Gearhart and Lula (?)^2,3 Edna Gearhart was included during the census of her parents, Dock V Gearhart and Lula (?), on 11 May 1910 at Olive Hill, Carter County, Kentucky.⁵ Edna was included during the census of her widowed mother, Lula (?) Flanery, on 11 April 1940 at Olive Hill, Carter County, Kentucky.² Edna Gearhart died in January 1983 at Carter County, Kentucky, at age 75.⁴

     John Mercer Slaughter is the son of Daniel Alexander Slaughter and Katherine "Kate" Rogers Somerville.¹

     Aunt Wanda. Marjorie Wanda King was born on 15 October 1907 at Orland, Glenn County, California.⁴ She was the daughter of Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman.^2,3 Marjorie Wanda King was included in the census of Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman on 16 April 1910 at Orland, Glenn County, California.⁵ Marjorie Wanda King witnessed the census of Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman on 15 January 1920 at Orland, Glenn County, California.⁶
     Wanda married Fred Carl Pratt, son of William Joseph Pratt and Amalie "Mollie" Auguste Albrecht, on 28 June 1927 at Willows, Glenn County, California.^7,3 Wanda was and her first two daughters were listed in the census of her parents, Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman, on 17 April 1930 at Orland, Glenn County, California.² Wanda and Fred appeared on the census of 1 May 1940 in Orland.⁸ Wanda was recorded on the World War II draft card of her husband Fred Carl Pratt on 16 October 1940 at Orland, Glenn County, California.⁹ As of December 1981, the address of Marjorie Wanda King was 506 4th, Orland, Glenn County, California.¹⁰ She died on 20 March 1984 at Chico, Butte County, California, at age 76; Cremated and ashes buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery - Orland, Calif. Lynn, son of John Thomas Lynn and Vera E. Jeffery. Lorraine Hazel Roos died on 6 July 1985 at Sacremento, Sacremento County, California, at age 77.³

     Lizzie Catherine Godfrey was born on 23 October 1907; Parents: Flora Catherine Godfrey Thomas.¹ She married Clifton White Pipkin, son of Elisha James Pipkin and Charity Smith Williams.¹ Lizzie Catherine Godfrey died on 23 June 1972 at Harnett County, North Carolina, at age 64.¹

     Don Marion Glass was born on 30 October 1907.¹ He was the son of Joshua Christian Glass and Maude Irene Mead.¹ Don Marion Glass married Charlotte Ruth Steele, daughter of Clarence Rufus Steele and Harriet Newell White, circa 1934 at Oklahoma.^1,2 Don Marion Glass and Charlotte Ruth Steele appeared on the census of 13 April 1940 in Jacksboro, Jack County, Texas.² Don Marion Glass died on 9 March 1961 at Kingfisher, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, at age 53.¹

     Margaret Saunders was born on 7 November 1907 at California.¹ She married Ralph Oliver Salmon, son of Everett E. Salmon and Virginia Maria Hitchcock, before 1934 at Santa Clara County, California.¹ Margaret Saunders and Ralph Oliver Salmon appeared on the census of 14 April 1940 in SAn Jose, Santa Clara County, California.² Margaret Saunders died on 23 May 1998 at San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, at age 90.⁴
