Pyrle Herbert "Peak" Hart was born on 5 December 1906 at Michigan.1,5 He was the son of Dexter George Hart and Nellie Mae Pratt.1,4 Pyrle Hart was included in the census of his parents, Dexter George Hart and Nellie Mae Pratt, on 15 April 1910 at Grand Rapids.1 He also was included in the census of his parents on 30 January 1920 at Grand Rapids, Michigan.6 "Peak" married Ruth M. Hammond, daughter of Fred A(fred) Hammond and Hazel Holmes, on 11 September 1937 at Michigan.7,2,8 Pyrle and Ruth Hart appeared on the census of 8 April 1940 in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Pyrle's wife Ruth is working as a Sect. Tres. in Stocks and Bonds. Boarding in their house was Ruth's sister Audrey Hammond, stenographer.7 Pyrle Herbert "Peak" Hart was listed on a U.S. World War II Army Enlistement Reocrd on 22 May 1942 at Kalamazoo, Michigan. He listed himself as married and his Civilian Occupation as Skilled mechanics and repairmen, n.e.c. During WWII, servied as a S/Sgt in the Army-Airforce.9 He died on 13 March 2001 at Kent County, Michigan, at age 94; he was burried in the Grandville Cemetery, Grandville, Kent County, Michigan. From an obituary located at the Herrick Public Library in Michigan. "Surviving are his wife, the Former Ruth M. Hammond, Whom he married on September 11, 1937, a total of 23,177 days; children, Marilyn and David Tardy, Kriss and Gerald Slot, and Tom and Gwen Hart, all of Rockford; grandchildren, Amy and Matt Gillis of Rockford, Julie DeBoer of Grand Rapids and her special friend, Dave Parris, Je., Becky Slot, John Slot, Kimberly art, and Nicholas Hart, all of Rockford; nieces, Larua Steibel, and Gale and Owen Johnson".5,3,10

Emma May Swimmer was also known as Emma.3 She was born circa 1907 at Oklahoma.3,4 She was the daughter of J Cull Swimmer and Ailsy Annie Elsie Murphy.2 Emma May Swimmer married Charlie Marion Weigart, son of Frances Marion Weigart and Florence King, on 26 December 1923 at Orange County, California.3,2 Charlie and Emma appeared on the census of 21 April 1930 in Rider, Mayes County, Oklahoma.5 Emma May Swimmer and Charlie Marion Weigart appeared on the census of 24 April 1940 in Rider, Meyers County, Oklahoma; This census included Velma L. Bladwin, age 33, boarder and School Teacher.3 Emma May Swimmer This could be a different Emma Swimmer. Fred was listed in the census of his parents, William and Mollie Pratt, on 17 April 1910 at Belvidere, Boone County, Illinois.1 He was listed with his widowed mother in the census of on 5 January 1920 at Belvidere.5
Fred married Marjorie Wanda King, daughter of Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman, on 28 June 1927 at Willows, Glenn County, California.6,3 While Fred appears to be missing from the 1930 census he and Wanda appeared on the census of 1 May 1940 in Orland.7 Fred was recorded on a World War II Draft Registration Card on 16 October 1940 at Orland, Glenn County, California.8 Fred Carl Pratt appeared on the 1950 US Census of 10 April 1950 in Orland, Glen County, California.9
"Uncle Fred" died suddenly on 3 November 1958 at Orland at age 51; From and obituary published in the Rockford Morning Star, Wed., Nov. 5, 1958: " Surviving are hia widow: three daughters, Marjory Pratt, Mrs. Marilyn Akin, and Mrs. Frances McCollum; two grandchildren; a sister; a brother, and a nephew, William R. Pratt, Berlvidere".10 He was buried on 6 November 1958 at Orland, Glenn County, California.11
When Fred first went from Illinois to California, he worked as a lineman for the Telephone Co. in Orland, Glenn County, California. By 1940, he was the Superintendent for the Orland City Water Department. Although not found on a roster, during WWII, he served in the Seabee's in the Soutn Pacific theater. After the war, he worked as a lock smith, bicycle repair, operated Pratt's Hobby Shop, operated emergency phone service for the Orland area and drove the area's only ambulance.12,3

She was also a member of the Westside Ambulance Association, Orland Alumni Association, honarary member of the Orland Volunteer Fire Department and for many years was the dispatcher for the department.
