The fact that William is an Episcapal Minister seems to tie this William to the Craighill family.5 Lillie and William appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 in Bedford, Bedford County, Virginia; Lillie is listed a "Wistar L."6 Lillie Wistar Craighill and William Clarkson Marshall appeared on the census of 11 April 1940 in Bedford, Bedford County, Virginia; Lillie is listed as "Wistar C.      Harold W. Armstrong was born circa 1892 at Culpeper, Virginia. He was the son of Luther Kelly Armstrong and Marion Rebecca Brown. Harold W. Armstrong died in 1895 at Culpeper, Virginia; Marion J. Armstrong remembered that "My first sorrow was the death of my 3 year-old brother. I remember the night he died. I wandered in the room where my Father and Mother were sitting with him and he was asking for water. For some reason I have never understood Doctors discouraged letting the very ill and feverish have water. I asked if I couldn't give him a drink and they looked so strangely at each other for some time and finally said I could. I've always been thankful for that. I was eight years old then but I remember this more vividly than most any thing else."1
