     Ralph Otis Pratt was born on 31 May 1884 at Michigan.1 He was the son of Uriah Hitite Pratt and Arminda Coon.1 He was included in the census of "sept-sister" and brother-in-law, John Slager and Pearl "Pruella" Coon, in 1894 at Walker Township, Kent County.2 Ralph appeared on the census for Geroge and Jennie Morgan of 12 June 1900 in Cannon Township, Kent County, Michigan; His occupation was listed as servant and farm laborer.3 Ralph was the head of house when he appeared on the census of 3 May 1910 in Maple River, Emmet County, Michigan; Living with him were his mother Arminda and brother Melvin. He was working at various odd jobs related to the timber industry.4 On 17 October 1910, Ralph married Nina Bell Goodrich, daughter of Leonard Goodrich and Christine "Wealthy" Craig, in Cheboygan, Michigan.5 Ralph and Nina appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 in Muskigon City, Muskigon County, Michigan; Ralph was working as a laborer in a foundry.6 Ralph and Nina appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 in Egelston, Muskegon County, Michigan.7 They appeared on the census of 2 May 1940 also in Egelston, Michigan.8 Ralph Otis Pratt and Nina Bell Goodrich appeared on the 1950 US Census of 27 April 1950 in Egleston, Muskegon County, Michigan.9 Ralph died on 21 November 1955 at Mercy Hospital, Muskegon, Michigan, at age 71; Obituary: Ralph Pratt Dies in Hospital - Ralph O. Pratt, 873 N. Chatterson road, Egelston Township, died yesterday at Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 71 years old and had lived in Muskegon most of his life. Mr. Prat was born in Grand Rapids, May 30, 1884, and attended Grand Rapids scools. He married the former Nina Goodrich Oct. 17, 1910, in Cheboygan. He had been employed at Lakey Foundry for 25 years until his retirement three years ago. He attended Calbvary Baptist Church. He leaves his wife: five sons Jesse of Revenna, and Raymond, Merle, Lester and Gerald Pratt, all of Muskegon: eight grandchildren, and a brother, Melvin Pratt of Sacramento, Calif.10
