     Robert Rankin Williams was born on 16 July 1812 at Greeneville, Greene County, Tennessee; An Obituary posted on Find-A-Grave: Robert Williams died Monday afternoon at his home near Sulphur City and was buried at 2 p.m. today at Elkins. Deceased was in his 93rd year and came to Arkansas from Greenville, Tenn. in 1852. When a young man he was a neighbor of Andrew Johnson, later the 17th President of the U.S., and was a patron of the latter who was engaged in the tailoring business. Uncle Bob Williams was a good man and a highly respected citizen. [The Springdale News 3/10/05].² He married Rachel Van Hoose, daughter of John Van Hoose and Lydia Lewis, on 18 June 1871 at Washington County, Arkansas.¹ Robert Rankin Williams and Rachel Van Hoose appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in White River, Arkansas; This census included Robert's daughter Florence, age 20.³ Robert Rankin Williams died on 26 February 1905 at Elkins, Washington County, Arkansas, at age 92.²

     Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson was born on 12 October 1812 at Virginia.⁴ She was the daughter of Griffith Dickerson and Rebecca Flanary.^1,3 Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson was likely one of the under 10 year old females during the census of his father, Griffith Dickerson, on 7 August 1820 at Scott County, Virginia; The Scott County entry provived the fallowing with an authors guess as to who the indiviuals could have been: Free White Persons - Males: under 10 (Thomas, Silas, James), 10-15 (William), 45 over (Griffith). - Females: under 10 (Martha, Jane, ?), 10-15 (?, ?), 16-25 (Sarah), 26-44 (Rebecca).⁵ Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson married Abraham Crockett Pallette, son of Abraham Pallette and Jane Young, on 15 October 1840 at Jackson County, Missouri.^6,4 Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson and Abraham Crockett Pallette appeared on the census of 1 October 1850 in Sni A Bar, Jackson County, Missouri.⁷ Abraham and Martha also appeared on the census of 16 July 1860 in Sinabar, Missouri.⁸ Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson and Abraham Crockett Pallette appeared on the census of 19 August 1870 in Sinabar.⁹ A widowed Mattie Pallette appeared on the census of 18 June 1880 in Sniabar, Jackson County, Missouri.² Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson died on 13 January 1892 at Jackson County, Missouri, at age 79; Burial in Green Chapel Cemetery.¹⁰ She was also known as Margaret Pallette.¹¹

     James Flanary was born on 12 November 1812 at Scott County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Silas Sevier Flanary and Sarah Pendleton.¹ James Flanary was born circa 1814 at Virginia.² He married Margarit (--?--) circa 1832 at Virginia.² James and Margaret Flannery appeared on the census of 15 August 1850 in Western District, Scott County, Virginia.² James and Mary Flanery appeared on the census of 14 June 1860 in My Division, Jackson County, Kentucky.³ James and Mary also appeared on the census of 30 June 1870 in Sturgeon, Jackson County, Kentucky.⁴ A 68 year old James was included in the census of his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Margaret, on 11 June 1880 at Sturgeon, Jackson County, Kentucky.⁵

     Claudia Eliza Bennett was born on 30 December 1812 at James Island, Charleston County, South Carolina.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Singletary Bennett and Martha Hibben.² Claudia Eliza Bennett married Titus Lucretius Bissell circa 1835.^1,3 Claudia Eliza Bennett died on 2 August 1884 at age 71.^1,2

     Susanna (?) was also known as Susan (?)² She was born circa 1813 at Gosberton, Lincolnshire, England.¹ She was born circa 1816 at Lincolnshire, England.² She married John Pepper, son of James Pepper, circa 1837 at Lincolnshire, England.¹ Susanna (?) and John Pepper appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in Gosburton, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England.² Susanna (?) and John Pepper appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 in Wrangle, Lincolnshire, England.¹ Susanna (?) and John Pepper appeared on the census of 7 April 1861 in Wrangle, Lincolnshire, England.³ Susanna was included in the census of her son-in-law and daughter, George and Sarah Pepper Balderosn, on 2 April 1871 at Wrangle, Lincolnshire, England.⁴

     Nancy Young was born circa 1813 at Virginia.¹ She married Elkanah Flanary, son of Silas Sevier Flanary and Sarah Pendleton, on 18 April 1833 at Lee County, Virginia.^1,2 Nancy Young and Elkanah Flanary appeared on the census of 22 January 1850 in Lee County, Virginia; This census included Nancy Wilson, age 67 and Rachel Wilson, age 80 (Nancy's mother and grandmother?)¹ Nancy Young died between March 1855 and 1859 at Lee County, Virginia; She was missing form the 1860 census of her family.³

     Catherine Mickler was born in 1813 at New York.¹ She married James Stevens circa 1830 at New York.¹ Catherine Mickler died in 1838 at New York.¹

     Thomas Hawker was born in 1813 at Somerset, England.¹ He, was transported as a convict aborad the vessel Susan for life on 31 March 1835 to Australia.² He married Charlotte Stapley on 9 September 1844 at Butterwick, New South Wales, Australia.^1,3 Thomas Hawker and Charlotte Stapley appeared on the census of 19 June 1860 in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California; This census included Salvadore Hawker, age 27, race Indian (Native American).⁴ Thomas Hawker From a biography posted on Find A Grave - "Thomas trained to be a Shoe Maker and was listed as fair in this trade. Due to an unknown situation, Thomas turned to Highway Robbery to pay the bills. He was sentinced to death on his second offence in the court of Aziez March 31, 1835. Like many so convicted his sentence was commuted to transportation to Australia for life. On Feburary 7, 1836, Thomas arived in New South Wales aboard the convict ship Susan. He was sent to the Farm Tocal to serve a private farmer as part of his sentence in June of that year. He promptly ran away and began a life of a bush ranger. He was caught and sent back in October that year he was found stealing from Tocal and sentenced to fifty lashes. After another turn at running away. He was somehow sent to Maitland where in January 1840 he stole a quarter of the grain he was contracted to grind for Mr Cornelious. Thomas Returned to his ways of the bushranger and along with others terrorised the area. Once caught he seems to have settled down. as May 14 1844 He was granted a ticket of leave for Maitland by the Patterson Bench. He married Charlotte Stapley in Sept that year. On the 15th of Febuary 1849 he was granted a conditional pardon to take effect 26 March 1849. In 1854 Thomas his wife and family along with her Parents and siblings and a contingent of Mormon pioneers set sail for California and settlement in San Bernardino, California. Thomas settled in the Lytle Creek area of San Bernardino where a gold rush was on. Thomas set up a store at the mouth of Lytle canyon. Later he sold this operation to purchase more land not always with water rights. A law suit insued over the issue of water but Thomas Lost and had to sell 75 acres of land without water to farm. He did make other good real estate deals like selling 160 acres at the mouth of Horse Canyon plus water rights for $1000 in gold in 1874. Thomas finaly settled in Etiwanda to live out the remainder of his days farming. A peaceful man."¹ He and Charlotte Stapley appeared on the census of 29 June 1880 in Cucamonga, San Bernardino, California.⁵ Thomas was included in the census of his daughter and Son-in-law, Victor Delor and Sarah Jane Hawker, on 9 June 1900 at San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California.⁶ Thomas Hawker died in 1905.¹

     Hannah Eliza Porter was born on 17 February 1813 at Boston, Massachusetts.^1,2 She was the daughter of Lemuel Porter and Hannah Cholles.^1,2 Hannah Eliza Porter married Joel Smith Bacon, son of Joel Bacon and Thankful Strong, circa 1833 at New York.¹ Joel and Hannah Bacon appeared on the census of 19 December 1850 in Washington, District of Columbia; This census included Hannah Porter, Hannah Bacon's mother.¹ Hannah Eliza Porter died on 3 December 1858 at Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia, at age 45.²

     Janet "Jane" Reynolds was born on 12 March 1813 in Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Reynolds and Martha Wills.¹ Janet "Jane" Reynolds married Cutler Salmon, son of Henry Salmon and Mary (?), on 19 October 1829 in Grant County, Wisconsin.³ Janet "Jane" Reynolds and Cutler Salmon appeared on the census of 24 August 1850 in District No 24., Grant County, Wisconsin.⁴ In 1853, Janet "Jane" Reynolds traveled by her husbands Wagon Train from Wisconsin to San Joaquin County, California; From a History of San Joaquin County, under the entry for Edward Reynolds: Fallowing are excerpts from a letter written by Cutler Salmon and dated at French Camp, Cal., October 30, 1853. "I landed at Hangtowin on September 8. I found no difficulty in crossing the plains". - "We started with twenty men in the company and we stood guard every night and day from the time we left Missouri till we got to Hangtown. Had no trouble with the Indians nor nobody else. Iowa Mtd Vols. on 24 February 1894.⁹ Janet "Jane" Reynolds died on 21 January 1899 at age 85; Posted at Find A Grave: Jane Reynolds was the 4th child born to Richard and Marthea Reynolds.Her real name was Janet but she shortened it to Jane; She married Cutler Salmonon the 19 Oct in the year 1829 in Grant Co,Wisconsin; Her husband Cutler Salmon was a Captain in the Black Hawk war.They had 10 children all together,4 boys and 6 girls,all were born in Grant County,Wisconsin; James Salmon m Nancy Sperry, John Salmon m Elizabeth Harelson, Glen Salmon m Martha Moore, Alex Salmon m Safronia Sperry, Mary Salmon m John Fox, Liggie Salmon m John Shedd, Sarah Salmon m Al Shedd, Harriet Salmon m Albert Glidden, Nancy Ellen Salmon died when she was a young lady still Martha Salmon died as a small child.^10,11

     Oliver D.      Lucinda Hamilton was also known as Lucinda Tapp ?³ She was born circa 1814 at Kentucky.¹ She married John Kimbrough, son of Moses Kimbrough and Nancy Jones, circa 1835 at Missouri.¹ Lucinda Hamilton and John Kimbrough appeared on the census of 20 June 1860 in Prairie, Randolph County, Missouri.⁴ Lucinda Hamilton and John Kimbrough appeared on the census of 23 August 1870 in Prairie, Randolph County, Missouri; this census included Verlind Tapp, Lucinda's mother?⁵ Lucinda Kimbrough witnessed the census of daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Alexander Ellingotn, on 16 June 1880 at Prairie, Randolph County, Missouri.⁶

     Charles Pratt was born circa 1814 at Cambridgeshire.¹ He married Elizabeth (?) circa 1836.¹

     Peter Mankins was born circa 1814 at Kentucky.¹ He was the son of Peter Mankins.¹ Peter Mankins married Narcissa (?) before 1837 at Arkansas.² Peter Mankins married Esther (?) after 1856.¹ Peter Mankins and Narcissa (?) appeared on the census of 27 August 1860 in Boon Grove P.O., White River, Washington County, Arkansas; Census includes a second Walter Mankins, age 17 and a second William, age 14. Are the duplicates or do they belong to some one else?³

     Charlott Matilda (?) was born circa 1814 at Virginia.¹ She married Enoch Fisher circa 1830 at Tennessee.² Charlott Matilda (?) and Enoch Fisher appeared on the census of 18 November 1850 in District 13, Panola, Mississippi.² Charlott Matilda (?) married John F. Donaldson before 26 June 1860 at Texas.¹ Charlott Matilda (?) and John F. Donaldson appeared on the census of 26 June 1860 in Cameron Post Office, Milam County, Texas.¹ Charlott Matilda (?) and John F. Donaldson appeared on the census of 12 June 1880 in Prencinct 3, Milam County, Texas.³

     Nancy Rhodes was born circa 1814 at Illinois.¹ She married Alanson Waller Bethel, son of Chester Bethel and Jane Jones, on 5 April 1831 at Macoupin County, Illinois.^1,2 Nancy Rhodes was included in the census of Alanson Waller Bethel on 20 September 1850 at Township 8 Range 13, Jersey County, Illinois.¹ Nancy Rhodes died on 5 March 1859 at Fieldon, Jersey County, Illinois.²

     Silas F Cash was born circa 1814 at Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Simpson Cash and Edith "Edee" Flanary.¹ Silas F Cash married Delila (?) circa 1849 at Tennessee.¹ Silas Cash and Delia appeared on the census of 17 September 1850 in District 10, White County, Tennessee.¹ Silas F Cash appeared on the census of 28 July 1860 in Falling Water P.O., White County, Tennessee.² He appeared on the census of 9 August 1870 in New Ark P.O., White County, Tennessee.³ Silas and Lila appeared on the census of 2 June 1880 in 9 Civil District, White County, Tennessee.⁴

     John Glantz was born circa 1814 at Germany; On The 1870 census John list Prussia as place of birth.¹ He married Maria (Mary) Keif at Germany.¹ John Glantz and Maria (Mary) Keif appeared on the census of 1870 in La Porte City, La Prrte Copunty, Indiana.² John Glantz and Maria Keif also appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 in La Porte, La Porte County, Indiana.¹

     Montgomery Lant was born circa 1814 at New York.¹

     Mahala (?) was born circa 1814 at Virginia.¹ She married John Dingus, son of Philip Dingus and Nancy McConnel (?), circa 1831 at Virginia.¹

     Edward Hancock was born circa 1814 at Portpool Lane, Holborn, England.² He was the son of William Henry Hancock and Pheobe Ann Gildersleeve.² Edward Hancock married Elizabeth Eliza Cotton, daughter of John Cotton, circa 1835 at St. Luke, London, England.³ Edward Hancock died on 28 January 1842 at St Luke, London, England.²

     James Calhoun was born circa 1814 at Ireland.¹ He married Eliazabeth "Eliza" P. Thurmond on 15 January 1850 at Comal County, Virginia.^1,2,3 James Calhoun and Eliazabeth "Eliza" P. Thurmond appeared living and farming on the property of William Hellerswitha on the census of 4 September 1850 in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas.⁴ Eliza and James appeared on the census of 15 August 1860 in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas.¹

     Jane A. (?) was born circa 1814 at Virginia.¹ She married John Humphries circa 1835 at Virginia.^1,2 Jane A. (?) was included in the census of John R. T. Humphries and Lillias M (?) on 1 June 1870 at Berkley, Spotsylvania County, Virginia.¹

     Susan Coleman was born circa 1814 at England.¹ She married William Groom on 9 November 1831 at Tivetshall St Mary & St Margaret, Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ Susan Coleman and William Groom appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in Tivetshall St Margaret, Depwade, Norfolk, England.³ Susan Coleman and William Groom appeared on the census of 21 September 1850 in District 24, Grant County, Wisconsin.¹

     Lydia C. (?) was born circa 1814 at Maryland.² She married George William Norris.¹ Lydia C. (?) and George William Norris appeared on the census of 17 July 1850 in 13th Ward, Baltimore City, Maryland; This census included a Ann Hutton or Button, age 49, born in Maryland. (Lydia's sister?)³ George and Lydia Norris appeared on the census of 23 June 1860 in Reisterstown P.O., Baltimore County, Maryland; This census also included George H. Norris (26), born in Maryland, nephew?²

     Cloe (?) was born circa 1814 at Virginia.¹ She married William Weeks, son of William Weeks and Hannah (?), before 1836.¹ Cloe (?) and William Weeks appeared on the census of 24 August 1850 in Prince William County, Virginia.¹ William and Cloe appeared on the census of 5 July 1860 in Prince William County.²

     Eliza (?) was born circa 1814 at Essendine, Northamptonshire, England.¹ She married Charles Downs.¹ Eliza (?) and Charles Downs appeared on the census of 7 April 1861 in Colly Weston, Peterborough, Northamptonshire, England.¹

     Phoebe (Cynthia?) (?) was also known as Pheobe Wutain/Whetaen/Martain.¹ She was born circa 1814 at Pennsylvania.¹ She married Abner P. Winchell before September 1834 at Pennsylvania; Abner's wife was listed as "Phoebe" for the 1850 U.S. census and as "Cynthia" thereafter. A death record for a Phoebe Winchell or a marriage record between a Cynthia and Abner was not found making it possible that Phoebe died at some time in the 1850's, Abner married a Cynthia.¹ Phoebe (Cynthia?) (?) and Abner P. Winchell appeared on the census of 22 October 1850 in Monroe, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; This census included a unemployed John Whetaen/Wutain/Martain born about 1796. Was this Pheobe's father?¹ Phoebe (Cynthia?) (?) and Abner P. Winchell appeared on the census of 25 July 1860 in Monroe, Wyoming County; For this census, A.P.'s wife is listed as Cynthia (born in circa 1810) which is different from Phoebe (born circa 1814). Therefore, Cynthia could be a second wife and not the mother of A. P.'s children.² Phoebe (Cynthia?) (?) and Abner P. Winchell appeared on the census of 15 June 1870 in Monroe.³

     Samuel McCrary was born circa 1814 at Tennessee.¹ He married Lydia (?) before 1840 at Tennessee.¹ Samuel McCrary and Lydia (?) appeared on the census of 13 September 1870 in Union Depot P.O., Sullivan County, Tennessee.²

     Col George Hay Ringgold was born in 1814 at Haggerstown, Washington County, Maryland.² He was the son of Gen Samuel Ringgold and Marie Antoinette Hay.¹ Col George Hay Ringgold married Mary Condy on 18 June 1851 at South Carolina.^2,3 Col George Hay Ringgold and Mary Condy appeared on the census of 3 July 1860 in San Francisco, California.⁴ Col George Hay Ringgold died on 4 April 1864 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, California; From and obituary posted on find-a-grave: " San Francisco Bulletin Tuesday, April 5, 1864
Death Of Lieutenant Colonel Ringgold. - Lieut. Colonel George H. Ringgold, Deputy Paymaster General, died yesterday at his residence in this city, after an illness of but a few days’ duration. Colonel Ringgold has been a citizen of San Francisco since 1855. By birth he was a native of Maryland but was appointed to West Point from the District of Columbia. He was first commissioned in 1833, receiving the commission which he bore at his death as Lieutenant Colonel of the Army, on the 28th of May 1862. Colonel Ringgold was a married man and had a large family. He was a man of considerable literacy accomplishments and was very generally esteemed in all the walks of life. A military funeral will be given him from St. Mary’s Cathedral tomorrow. Six companies under the command of Colonel Sibley will escort the body to the burying ground".²

     Charlotte (?) was born in 1814 at New York.¹ He married David T. Timmerman, daughter of Thomas Timmerman and Elizabeth (?), circa 1834 at New York.¹ Charlotte (?) and David T. Timmerman appeared on the census of 18 September 1850 in Minden, Montgomery County, New York.¹

     James Tyree was born in 1814 at Scott County, Virginia.^1,2 He married Mary Elizabeth "Polly" Hall on 22 June 1836 at Scott County, Virginia.^3,2 James Tyree married Mary "Polly" Young circa 1851 at Scott County, Virginia.^1,4,2 James Tyree and Mary "Polly" Young appeared on the census of 24 October 1860 in Estillville P.O., Scott County, Virginia.⁵ They appeared on the census of 4 October 1870 in Powel, Virginia.⁴ James Tyree died on 8 September 1877 at Scott County, Virginia.^1,2
