     Alexander Steele was born in August 1848 at Virginia.3,1 He was the son of Shadrach Shade Steele and Martha Elizabeth Blankenship.2 Alexander Steele was included during the census of his parents, Shadrach Shade Steele and Ellen Asbury, on 26 July 1860 at Maiden Spring, Tazewell County, Virginia.2 Alex married Sarah "Sallie" Allen circa 1875 probably in Tazewell County, Virginia.4 Alex and Sarah Steele appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in Maiden Spring, Tazewell County, Virginia.3 They appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 also in Maiden Spring, Tazewell County.5 Alexander Steele seems to have died some time after 1900 as Sarah is a widow by 1910.6

     Edward Mortimer Vinson was born on 24 August 1848 at Conneaut, Ohio; From a photo copy of his death certificate.2 He was the son of Joseph Vinson and Mariah "Maria" Woodcock.1 Edward was included in the census of his parents, Joseph Vinson and Mariah "Maria" Woodcock, on 31 July 1850 at Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio.1 Edward was also included in the census of his parents on 21 September 1857 at Township 103, Fillmore County, Minnesota.3 Edward was included in the census of his parents in 1865 at Orion, Olmsted County, Minnesota.4 Edward Mortimer Vinson was recorded in census of Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison on 24 August 1870 at Walker Township.5 Edward married Mary E. Pratt, daughter of Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison, on 27 October 1870 at Kent County, Michigan. Marriege was witnessed by Mary B. Graves and Mary's brother John L. Pratt.6 Mary and Edward were divorced on 9 June 1875 at Wexford County, Michigan.6 Edward Mortimer Vinson married Emily V. Stranahan on 3 December 1876 at Colfax, Wexford County, Michigan.7 Edward Mortimer Vinson died on 26 December 1916 at Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee, at age 68.2

"Mattie" Dickerson.2,1 Vitura "Tura" Pallette was listed in the census of her parents, Abraham Crockett Pallette and Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson, on 1 October 1850 at Sni A Bar, Jackson County, Missouri.3 Tura was recorded durningthe census of Abraham Crockett Pallette and Martha B. "Mattie" Dickerson on 16 July 1860 at Sinabar, Missouri.2 She also was included during the census of her parents on 19 August 1870 at Sinabar.4 She was include in the census of her widowed mother Mattie on 18 June 1880 also in Sniabar, Jackson County, Missouri.5 Tura married Edgar E Axline, son of Joseph E Axline and Amanda J Kalb, on 3 May 1888 at Jackson County, Missouri.6 Vitura "Tura" Pallette and Edgar E Axline appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 in Sinabar, Jackson County, Missouri.7 They appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 in Independance, Jackson county, Missouri.8 Having move to Kansas, they appeared on the census of 22 January 1920 in Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas.9 Vitura "Tura" Pallette died in 1927 at Lafayette County, Missouri.10

     Sarah Pratt was born before 1 April 1849 at Holbeach, Lincolnshire, England.2,3,4 She was the daughter of William Pratt and Emma Pepper.1 She was recorded in the census of her parents, William Pratt and Emma Pepper, on 30 March 1851 at 181 Fleet Street, Holbeach, Lincolnshire; William was working as a Brewer's Laborer at the time. Possibably at the Norwich Brewry Co. (Watney subsidiary) which began brewing at 72 Fleet Street in 1844.3 In 1855, after coming to the United States, she was recorded in the New York State census of her parents at Galen, Wayne County, New York.5 Sarah Pratt appeared as a house keeper in the home of Eliza Childs on the census of 12 July 1860 in Galen.2 She died on 23 December 1860 at Galen (Clyde), New York; The cause of death was diptheria and she was burried in the William Pratt Family Plot at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clyde.1
