     Alexander Steele was born in August 1848 at Virginia.3,1 He was the son of Shadrach Shade Steele and Martha Elizabeth Blankenship.2 Alexander Steele was included during the census of his parents, Shadrach Shade Steele and Ellen Asbury, on 26 July 1860 at Maiden Spring, Tazewell County, Virginia.2 Alex married Sarah "Sallie" Allen circa 1875 probably in Tazewell County, Virginia.4 Alex and Sarah Steele appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 in Maiden Spring, Tazewell County, Virginia.3 They appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 also in Maiden Spring, Tazewell County.5 Alexander Steele seems to have died some time after 1900 as Sarah is a widow by 1910.6

     Edward Mortimer Vinson was born on 24 August 1848 at Conneaut, Ohio; From a photo copy of his death certificate.2 He was the son of Joseph Vinson and Mariah "Maria" Woodcock.1 Edward was included in the census of his parents, Joseph Vinson and Mariah "Maria" Woodcock, on 31 July 1850 at Conneaut, Ashtabula County, Ohio.1 Edward was also included in the census of his parents on 21 September 1857 at Township 103, Fillmore County, Minnesota.3 Edward was included in the census of his parents in 1865 at Orion, Olmsted County, Minnesota.4 Edward Mortimer Vinson was recorded in census of Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison on 24 August 1870 at Walker Township.5 Edward married Mary E. Pratt, daughter of Uriah Pratt and Anne Jane Laurison, on 27 October 1870 at Kent County, Michigan. Marriege was witnessed by Mary B. Graves and Mary's brother John L. Pratt.6 Mary and Edward were divorced on 9 June 1875 at Wexford County, Michigan.6 Edward Mortimer Vinson married Emily V. Stranahan on 3 December 1876 at Colfax, Wexford County, Michigan.7 Edward Mortimer Vinson died on 26 December 1916 at Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee, at age 68.2

Havens married Laura Josephine Darby, daughter of Samuel Darby and Sarah M Reed, on 11 January 1873 at Vernon, Lake County, Illinois.1 Laura and Cornelius appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in Beloit, Rock County, Wisconsin.2 Cornelius B.
