     Glena Margaret Rogers was born on 3 April 1916 at Carter, Knox County, Tennessee.^1,2,4 She was the daughter of William R Rogers and Visie/Vina J (?)³ Glena Margaret Rogers was included in the census of her parents, William R Rogers and Visie/Vina J (?), on 26 January 1920 at civil District 5, Unicoi County, Tennessee.³ She was also included in the census of Parents on 23 April 1930 at Civil District 6, Carter County, Tennessee.⁵ Glena Margaret Rogers married Bascum Arlie Ashworth, son of John Silas Ashworth and Peral R. Starnes, circa 1934.^1,2 Glena Margaret Rogers died on 20 March 2003 at Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee, at age 86.⁴

     Flossie Darlene "Fancy" Flanery was born on 16 April 1916 at Mount Summit, Henry County, Indiana.^1,3 She was the daughter of Clyde Raymond Flanery and Leona Bell Farley.¹ Flossie Darlene "Fancy" Flanery died on 30 May 1945 at West Africa at age 29.^1,3 She Flossie served as a Private First Class in the Women’s Army Corps, and was a passenger on C-47B #44-76406, 1202nd Air Air Force Base Unit, U.S. Army Air Force that crashed in the sea during World War II.      Muriel West was born on 16 April 1916 at Mirfield, Dewsbury, Yordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of George Edwin West and Jessie Blackburn.¹ Muriel West married Arthur Stanley Pratt, son of Arthur Edward Pratt and Mary Ann Neal, on 10 June 1942 at Spen Valley, Yorkshire West Riding, England.¹ Muriel West died between 1 January 1974 and 30 March 1974 at Dewsbury, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Amelia Hope Hannigan was born on 21 April 1916 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.¹ He married Robert M. Armstrong, son of Frank Miller Armstrong and Louisa Matilda "Lulu" Reichert, on 16 August 1947 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.¹ Amelia Hope Hannigan died on 3 December 2007 at Dallas, Texas, at age 91.²

     Bernice M. Goelitz was born on 29 May 1916 at Illinois.^1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Goelitz and Bertha Simon.¹ Bernice M. Goelitz was included in the census of Henry Goelitz on 23 January 1920 at Ganges, Allegan County, Michigan.³ Bernice M. Goelitz was included in the census of Henry Goelitz on 4 April 1930 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.¹ Bernice M. Goelitz married Stephen S. Palffy on 27 February 1946 at Cook County, Illinois.⁴ Bernice M. Goelitz died on 5 March 2009 at Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 92.²

     Melvin Melton Pratt was born on 7 June 1916 at Montana.^1,2,3 He was the son of Melvin Elroy "Jack" Pratt and Crystal/Christen/Chrise Hazel Slager.¹ Melvin Melton Pratt witnessed the census of Melvin Elroy "Jack" Pratt and Crystal/Christen/Chrise Hazel Slager on 3 May 1920 at School District 9, Rosebud County, Montana.¹ Melvin Melton Pratt appeared on the census of April 1930 in North Sprague, Lincoln County, Washington; Melvin is listed as a roomer whos occupation is farm laborer.⁴ He was included in the census of Melvin Elroy "Jack" Pratt on 9 April 1930 at Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho; On the 1930 U.S. Census, Melvins "Jack'" Pratt's marital status was listed as D(ivorced)? He listed his father (Uriah) as from England and mother (Arminda) from Ohio.⁵ Melvin Melton Pratt married Helen Shirley Skeen, daughter of William David Skeen and Laura Agatha Holden, on 11 July 1941 at Pinal County, Arizona.⁶ Melvin Melton Pratt Melvin was recorded on a Spokane County Jail Record as being in violation of the Fegeral Selective Service Act. His occupation is listed as Truck Driver. on 26 July 1948 at Walla Walla, Spokane County, Washington.⁷ He died on 5 July 1983 at Imperial County, California, at age 67.⁸

     Ione Louise Wurschmidt was born on 16 June 1916 at California.^1,3 She was the daughter of Cornelius Wurschmidt and Katherine "Kate" Bach.² Ione Louise Wurschmidt was recorded in the census of Cornelius Wurschmidt and Katherine "Kate" Bach on 26 January 1920 at Hamilton City, Glenn County, California.⁴ Ione Louise Wurschmidt was recorded in the census of Cornelius Wurschmidt and Katherine "Kate" Bach on 14 April 1930 at Township 2, Glenn County, California.⁵ Ione Louise Wurschmidt married John King, son of Charles A. King and Sarah Adela Batman, before 24 April 1940.^1,6 John and Ione appeared on the census of 24 April 1940 in Orland, Glenn County, California.⁶ Ione Louise Wurschmidt died on 12 October 1990 at Glenn County, California, at age 74.^1,7

     Jean Marion Stafford was born on 30 June 1916 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.² She was the daughter of LeRoy H. Stafford and Marian Alberta Hezzelwood.^3,4 Jean Stafford was included in the census of her parents, LeRoy H. Stafford and Marian Alberta Hezzelwood, on 7 January 1920 at Chicago, Illinois.⁵ She was also included in the census of her parents on 10 April 1930 at Seattle, King County, Washington.³ Jean married Boris Dimitry Small, son of Dimitry Trophimovich Smolentseff and Maria Evseve, on 16 February 1936 at San Francisco, California.^1,2 Jean Marion Stafford and Boris Dimitry Small appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 in Palo Alto, California.⁶ Jean Marion Stafford Linda Berg Stafford posted an essay written by Jean in 1993,
"After graduating from Princeton, my father was at work on his PhD at the University of Chicago when I was born. When I was four my parents divorced. On the advice of his Doctor my father moved to Seattle, Washington. At age nine my mother took me to Seattle where my parents tried to mend their marriage. When I was thirteen my mother re-married; my father kept me. A neighboring family with a girl my age kept it from being a bleak life for me. There had been no contact with either the Staffords or the Hazelwoods. I was thirty before I met anyone from either family. It was the depression and father barely eked out a living working for the Seattle Post Intelligencer. I was a somewhat indifferent student, shining in classes I liked and barely passing ones I didn't. Sewing and music were my favorites. In reality I learned more from my father than from school. Keeping house taught me home-making skills and self-reliance. I had taken typing and expected to work for Greybar Electric, when I met Boris. He was a charming, handsome, romantic young man from a Russian Military family. They had been forced to flee during the Revolution and lived eight years in Harbin, China. Boris had two years at the University of Washington then became apprenticed to a Swiss Watchmaker. We knew each other three weeks when he went to California, found a job and asked me to marry him. I did this February 1936, shocking my father and friends. Boris was earning $25.00 a week and we had a suitcase apiece. The early years were shadowed by the death of our first son, Richard LeRoy, aged four months. Later brightened by our first daughter, Nina Irene. Boris worked in defense during WWII. Our second son Stephen Boris was born and we managed to get together enough money to open our own Jewelery store. It supported us for twenty-one years until cataracts prevented Boris doing very fine watch and jewelry work. 1947 was a banner year. Our second daughter Linda Louise was born and my Aunt Millie came from Ohio to visit us. (Mildred Stafford Boyer) My father died in 1942, and Aunt Millie and I had corresponded since then. Her visit meant more than I can express and she encouraged us to come to Ohio and meet the Stafford family. The years of raising the children and helping Boris in the store were not easy. We tried to expose them to worthwhile things and to educate them. Stephen became an attorney and died as the result of an auto accident at forty-one. He left a son, Matthew Stephen, who graduated from Loyola University last year. Nina holds a Master's in Business Administration and one in Telecommunications. She is Manager of Lockheed's Telecommunications's Department and recently installed the communications system for Lockheed's Moscow office. Linda is working on her Master's in Speech Pathology. She has two daughters, Hilary and Dimitria. I grew up in an era when women expected to be wives and mothers. That's what I am. My life has been one of happiness and sorrow. Boris and I will have been married fifty-six years in February. He has survived the loss of a kidney as well as a major heart attack. He has painted for pleasure for many years and given pleasure as well. He also finds joy (?) in cooking. Although he no longer plays golf or goes fishing, he plans menus, shops and cooks lunches for his friends! Boris does not like to travel but we have had several memorable trips. Across the States by car, with Nina eleven and Stephen nine, to Ohio to visit my Stafford relations. A trip to Russia, enriched by Boris's fluency with the language. We make a yearly trip to Washington, have made four trips through the Canadian Rockies to Jasper, three trips through the South West and criss-crossed California many times. We live in comfort and contentment. Boris paints and cooks. I have time to read, enjoy music, play bridge and with Boris, enjoy our great grand children Rami, five and Ryan, three. We are thankful for each day we have together and to have our family near us."⁷

     Jean Marion StaffordSmall was a speciel friend. The Small's and Pratt's often traveled and camped together. This included a trip to Hawaii and a girl's only tour of the British Islands in the early 1980s. Immediately after Norman Pratt's death, Marion Pratt found comfort in the company of Jean and her husband Boris. Interestingly, Jean and Marion both died at the age of 93.⁸ Jean died on 20 March 2009 at Palo Alto, California, at age 92.⁹

     Mary Lee Gilbert was born on 9 July 1916 at Brilliant, Marion County, Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of William D. Gilbert and Roxania A Logan.²

     Campbell Henderson Gould was born on 16 July 1916 at Ohio.^2,3 He was the son of William Harold Gould and Edith Christie (?)² Campbell Henderson Gould was included in the census of William Harold Gould on 10 January 1920 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio; The index on ancestry lists William as William H. Gault.⁴ Campbell was also included in the census of his parents on 30 April 1930 at Washington, Lucas County, Ohio.⁵ Campbell Henderson Gould married Mary Catherine Armstrong, daughter of John Fisher Armstrong and Anna C. Copeland, on 16 August 1940 at Miami, Florida.^1,6 Campbell Henderson Gould died on 6 October 1943 at Army Air Corps flight during World War II in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at age 27; Email from Ann Safer daughter of Mary Catherine Armstrong: "His son was born 5 weeks after his father died. His father was a pilot in Buenos Aires and his plane was sabotaged by the Nazis. They put a bomb aboard.^1,6,7,8"

     Berger Ottosen was born on 16 August 1916 at New York.⁴ He was the son of Julius Theodor Ottosen and Laura Field.^2,3 Berger Ottosen was recorded in the census of Julius Theodor Ottosen and Laura Field on 6 January 1920 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.⁵ Berger Ottosen was recorded in the census of Julius Theodor Ottosen on 5 April 1930 at Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut. Berger Ottosen Enlistment for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law on 27 January 1942 at Air Corps Enlistment, San Francisco, California.⁶ He married Ethel Marie Coburn, daughter of Robert John Coburn and Grace Marrie Farrow, in 1977 at Alameda County, California.¹ As of circa 1981, the address of Berger Ottosen and Ethel Marie Coburn was 1541 8th St., Alameda, Alameda County, California.¹ Berger Ottosen died on 21 November 1988 at Alameda County, California, at age 72.⁴

     Louis Francis Van Amburgh was born on 19 August 1916 at New York.³ He was the son of Frank Van Amburgh and Alice Fagan.² Louis Francis Van Amburgh was born on 19 August 1917 at Albany, New York.¹ Louis was included in the census of his parents, Frank Van Amburgh and Alice Fagan, on 10 January 1920 at Albany, Albany County, New York.⁴ He was also recorded during the census of his parents in April 1930 at Albany.² Louis Francis Van Amburgh married Betty Ruth Urmey, daughter of Harry Eugene Urmey and Mary Agnes Montross, on 3 March 1947 at Toledo, Ohio.¹ Louis Francis Van Amburgh died on 24 January 2003 at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York, at age 86; From an Obituary for Louis VanAmburgh - "In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Louis F.
